Funsters Holiday Club
FunstersHoliday Club provides full daycare in the form of an activity club during the school holidays for the children of Mid Devon utilising the facilities at the leisure centres. Funsters is based at Culm Valley Sports Centre, Cullompton, run by qualified Playworkers employed by the leisure centre. Visit the Ofsted website to read the latest inspection report. Congratulations to Funsters in Cullompton who celebrated their 10th birthday earlier in 2009.
Funsters provides high quality stimulating care for children. Our policies and procedures act as a statement of our club’s values and purposes and provide a framework for staff, carers and children. Our relationship with parents and carers is very important to us as we aim to meet the complex needs of the children in our care. The full policies and procedures are available at the centres, just ask at reception.
Funsters is a multi-activity playscheme, run by energetic, enthusiastic staff. Activities will vary from day to day as some will depend upon availability of different areas of the building and others on the weather. Each Funsters session is jam packed with fun and games from start to finish will lots of educational elements along the way. The motto of Funsters is "Active, Happy Healthy" and themes reflect this, helping children to develop an understanding of the benefits of living a healthy lifestyle. Each child is unique and brings something different to Funsters. We encourage children to make friends and enjoy each other’s company, listen and be listened to, helping to make Funsters their holiday club.
