Zest membership has become simpler, easier and even better value for money. The casual or pay and play prices have just increased, however the great news is that Zest Membership prices remained the same, so making membership even better value for money. Our pricing options take into account your individual circumstances and joining is now simpler, easier, quicker and you only have to part with as little as £10.10 up front to walk away a Zest Member. Read on to find out how.
Prices are categorised into three levels, as follows:
Level 1: Adults (16 years+)
No Zest card is required for casual adult pay and play prices. For level 1 adults there are choices of payment methods for inclusive memberships, detailed on the individual membership pages.
Level 2: Easy Zest
For the under 16's, those in full time education, attending an E2E Scheme, registered disabled and their carers level 2 pricing applies. Proof of status is required to access the level 2 prices. There are two inclusive memberships available at Level 2 rates, Lifestyle Plus and Lifestyle, click on those memberships on the left to find out more. Level 3: Access Zest
For those in receipt of means tested benefits, the play and pay prices become even more affordable. Level 3 pricing is available to the benefit recipient and their dependents. Proof of eligibility is required to access level 3 prices which are available on pay and play payments only. How do I join?
Joining is easy. Download the membership application form and complete the details requested. Remember to provide up to date proof of status, documents accepted are listed on the form to make it easy for you.
There is an 'Induction Fee' for all Lifestyle Plus Memberships, the membership which includes use of the fitness studio which is payable on joining (or re-joining if there is a lapse in membership). This fee also covers the membership from the day you join until the date the first direct debit is taken, and is not optional. A Fitness Studio Induction, assessment and programme is included for all Lifestyle Plus Memberships but it doesn't have to be attended immediately. The level 1 fee is £25.00 and levels 2/3 £20.00
There is a Joining fee of £20.20 per level 1 member, or £10.10 levels 2/3 for payable on joining for the Lifestyle and Junior Lifestyle Zest inclusive memberships (unless we are running a no fees promotion). That's all you need to pay up front to become a member - your direct debit then starts about two weeks later.
For family memberships the maximum joining/induction fee is £50.00.
The pay and play Gym Registration should also be applied for on the Zest Application Form for which there is no administration fee, just the registration fee for this casual gym user status. Read more about this in the Fitness section.
Take your completed application form, your joining fee and your proof of status (if applicable) into the leisure centre. Your payment will be taken and your membership begins straight away.
