Two decades for Lords Meadow!
Monday, 29 November 2010 Lords Meadow Leisure Centre is celebrating 20 years of opening on 1st December 2010. The centre, located in the Lords Meadow Trading Estate opened as a dry facility on 1st December 1990, the official opening ceremony following in the August of 1991. Staff enjoyed a busy weekend as they were flooded with membership applications and people coming to view the facilities. Anyone for Tennis?
Thursday, 4 November 2010 The tennis courts at Lords Meadow Leisure Centre have been given a new lease of life this autumn, having undergone a resurfacing and repainting process. This has greatly improved not only the appearance of the courts but the playing surface itself. The brightly painted courts have new nets, fresh lines and a new image - perfect for any player.
