As you become a more competent and confident swimmer, many other water based disciplines become available to you. As a swimmer you can experience all kinds of aquatic activities for fun, fitness or competition, there being many options available to you. Barracuda
At Lords Meadow Leisure Centre, the Barracuda sessions are for juniors who have achieved stage 6 or above. A chance to explore lots of different disciplines. Click here for further information.

Snorkelling
At Lords Meadow Leisure Centre. 4 week courses to learn and develop basic snorkelling skills with British Sub Aqua Snorkelling qualified instructors. Life Saving and Rookie Lifeguard
The Royal Life Saving Society www.lifesavers.org.uk offer courses for Rookie Lifeguard for younger swimmers, which can lead on to Beach and Pool lifeguard qualifications.
